Here's an opportunity for adults and young adults who want to live more intentionally in the spirit of the Advent season.
Join online with other local Catholics and a facilitator from our Faith Formation Team to read and discuss the Sunday readings and the way in which these readings call all of us to a deeper appreciation for Advent and the birth of the Lord which we are preparing to celebrate at Christmas.
You do not have to be a deeply spiritual person or have more than a common appreciation for Scripture to participate in these weekly conversations. The discussions are free and open to the public.

Advent Weekly Discussions for 2025 will meet on the following dates:
Monday, December 1. 7:00-8:00pm.
Monday, December 8. 7:00-8:00pm.
Tuesday, December 15. 7:00-8:00pm.
Monday, December 22. 7:00-8:00pm.

About Lectio Divina
Lectio Divina ("Holy Reading") is a form of reflection and prayer which Christians have used for centuries to enter more fulling into the meaning of holy Scripture. We will use a modified form of Lectio for our weekly Advent discussions, reading each reading twice:
• the first time we will be listening for a word, phrase or image which has special meaning for us;
• the second time we will be listening to see what message or meaning the reading as a whole has for us,
the church, or the world at large.
